About The Training:

We are excited to announce the much anticipated launch of module 4 will be held as a residential retreat training. This Yoga Alliance accredited program has been carefully designed for us be able to disconnect from our day-to-day lives, so we can immerse ourselves fully in practice and study, whilst enjoying plenty of time for swimming, nature hikes, massages and overall rest and recuperation.

Once we have learned to cultivate body intelligence – understanding why and how to safely and effectively practice functional yin yoga - we can begin to explore the deeper, more subtle layers of our internal landscape.

In this training we will study the various inner methods complimented by our yin yoga practice, from both a Yogic and Buddhist perspective. We will explore yin and yang approaches to Mindfulness and chakra meditation and learn how to incorporate creative visualization techniques into the practice. Our goal is to enhance Qi flow, regulate the nervous system, train the mind and cultivate self-awareness.

Due to the sensitive nature of this inner work, we will learn how to practice and teach these techniques functionally, ensuring the techniques remain individualised, accessible and safe for all students.

Each day will include guided and unguided sitting practices, various inner methods creatively combined with yin yoga, theoretical lectures as well as group reflection exercises.

Graduates will leave with the knowledge and skill to support themselves - as well as their students - in exploring the practice of yin yoga, beyond asana.

To ensure a more personal and individualised experience, this training is limited to 18 spaces only.

*In this module we will not study yin yoga theory, functional anatomy or how to approach the physical poses. This training is for those who have already undertaken a functional yin yoga training and/or have a regular practice and know how to practice yin yoga safely.
